Permalink Reply by Leigh Hicks on January 11, 2010 at 11:22am Humira worked great for me, but after a year it stopped working. If you do decide to start Humira, ask your doctor for the pre-filled syringes and not the auto-inject pens. Humira does sting going in and I found out that when you use the pre-filled syringes you can control how fast the medication is injected. It took a while for my doctor to talk me into it because I felt that maybe I couldn't make myself put that needle in myself, but after the first time I did it I didn't have any problems.
I am now on Enbrel but that isn't working and I also have a huge flare-up (big sigh here too).
