My doctor is trying to qualify me to take Enbrel. Since the medication is extremely expensive. Enbrel offers a up to 12 months of co-pay support. I should only have to pay $100.00. Any comments or feedback regarding this progam and medication. Would be extremely helpful.

Enbrel has worked wonders for many is what I've heard unfortunately it wasn't my savior and didn't help me at all! After I get my hip replaced in may I may be trying raptiva soon after! I hope for you Enbrel helps you immensely and is what you need to clear up this dreaded disease!
Thank you!
I have been on Enbrel for over 3 years . It has worked great for me. When I first started taking Enbrel it took about 8 weeks before I started to notice improvement in my psoriasis. Enbrel cleared me completely with in a few months after I started. I have not had any bad side effects. I do tend to get sick alot though. When you get sick you have to stop taking Enbrel til you are better. I hope Enbrel helps you.
Thanks for your feedback. It was encouraging. I will let you all know how it works out. I should be starting on it within a couple of weeks. I have only used oitments in the past. Looking forward to trying something new.
I have psoriasis so bad so Enbrel did not work for me. I wonder why it is so expensive for you though. I only had to pay 20 dollars. Well I really wish you the best of luck and hope it works!!
Hi Amy, I am hoping I can get the medication for a small co-pay. Still waiting on some paperwork to go through. Sorry to hear about your psoriasis. What has been working for you now???
Well I tried Humira first then I tried Enbrel. Neither one of them worked for me just made it worse. Now they want to put me on Remicade but are having second thoughts because I have already tried the two shots. I have had psoriasis since I was 10, so going on 15 years. I dont know what to do anymore. When I was pregnant with my daughter I didnt have psoriasis at all, then after I had her I got it really bad. I have it from head to toe. So if anyone has any suggestions that would be much appreciated.

Greg, just be careful with Raptiva. Apparently the FDA is investigating it because 3 users have died from a brain infection called PML, for which there is no cure. Because of this scare, I stopped taking Raptiva.
hey i was just woundering if anyone knows if a cortisone shot helps psoriasis?
