Does anyone have/know a regimen for exercising when your hands and feet are inflamed and hurt? Or any type of exercises to keep your body fit while going thru treatments and medications?

Thanks,

Michael

That is a great question. I always wondered that also. All you hear is about exercise and well if your feet hurt, hands are sore -WHAT CAN YOU DO??? and your to tired to exercise-but your on predniscone and that makes you heavier????
As i have been in the military most of my life we have a physical training daily, but as my condition worsened I have limited physical abilities now. I am trying to quit smoking and at least try some
activities to lose the little weight I have gained in the past few months. I am now on Leviquine/Soriatane/Humira shots. Want to be at least back to my "buff" self and not feel so out of control with my body fat. I might just start doing sit-ups twice a day and see if I can start a program which will work. Sounds like an idea to get a video out for people with Psoriasis/skin conditions, to keep healthy looking? Suggestions?

I have found some deep breathing exercises online that help with blood circulation, energy boosting and believe it or not, weight loss by lowering your cortisol levels. I Googled deep breathing exercises and found several helpful ones. I hope this helps.
Sure, Thanks Marie! Will give it try too and look more into it.
