Hi Jo, good to hear from you. I am sorry that you are having a rough time at the moment. I am very new to this Palmer and Plantar Psoriasis myself. I find that because I am on my feet all day, by the end of the day (often even at the beginning of the day), my feet feel like I have been walking on broken glass!! I have been putting lots of Diprobase Emollient cream on my feet at night and wearing socks in bed. I agree with you. Keeping your feet moisturised, does make a big difference. I have no broken skin at the moment, so long may that continue, but I do still have lots of the small blisters just under skin surface on my hands and feet. I do hope that you feel better soon. Take care x

I have had psoriasis for the last 23 years, I am now with plantar and palmer psoriasis and going thru a rough patch as this is new for me. I have the cracking and taking steps sometimes is a killer for me, I was a ICU nurse for years but now just do case management at a desk as I am unable to do the other due to the psoriasis, I find that if I use either vasaline or Eucerine cream at night then put on my cotton socks it really makes a difference. i am on remicaide, have been on embrel and humira, and also use a temovate cream twice a day for my feet. keeping them moisturized is the key I think. Good luck.
Thanks Lynda for the reply and sharing of your issues as well. I am just new to this website and find already much emotional support in the stories of others with similar issues. Although my family is great, as per my husband he really does not know how I feel as he is not in my shoes. I am amazed at how many of those tiny blisters are under the surface and rapidly they appear and disappear leaving behind just the dry peely skin. I too am fortunate with no open areas just dry and cracking, I have been lucky so far with the temovate and moisturizer combo. I am going for another remicaide treatment at 4wks to see if it helps. Good luck as well, I know how you feel with the "broken glass feeling", let's pray for a cure to the disease in the real near future. I hope you have a good week and get some relief soon-- Jo
