"I also was told to take bleach bathes too. About a half cup to a tub of water!"
Michael, I'm curious what the bleach will do for you...did the Derm? say?
I'm doing an experiment today by slathering vasoline onto my hands and then covering them with thin clear vinyl gloves (box of 80 for $4.00 at Walgreens, their brand). Not that I need to wear this specific type of glove. Someone else on here put me onto this. It is suppose to force the vasoline into the skin/pores rather than soak into the that I would otherwise be wearing ...and of course keep the messy vasoline off of the furniture, keyboard, etc. I probably won't wear the gloves all day long since it is Saturday and I hope to be enjoying the weekend. Although, I might. Either way I will keep you informed of the results.
Keep your chin to the wind!

I have joined you on this journey.....through my 14 years of dealing with psoriasis I have never had it on the palms of my hands nor on the soles of my feet....well since being in the hospital this month i have gotten it on my hands and they have been peeling like crazy.....people keep asking me how it feels....the only way i can think to describe it is when you grab your steering wheel in your car on the hottest day of the year...that scortch burning feeling......is that how any of yours feels?....im new to dealing with this so im not sure what to do about it....it hurts to hold my little girls' hands so im having to adjust.....although now my hands are almost done peeling i just have the crazy tenderness.....about two weeks ago i noticed my feet itching more than normal....so i look and wham....my feet are doing the same thing....peeling like crazy...i love sandals...i have never really been a sock and shoe person....i dont know if this is a good thing with the feet like this or a bad thing...i have tried shoes and no shoes...same the both way...so now my wonder is....what do yall do to keep your feet hydrated and from hurting......just all new stuff to me and i know i can count on yall for good advice!!!!....much <3
Michael,
May I ask what the doctor has prescribed for you to use for p? Also, when you say creamed/lubed what are you using and how often with the cotton socks or gloves? When you use the gloves (cotton/latex) do you use them together?
Always looking for ideas that might help or that I can pass along to others.
Patricia
