Psoriasis Cure Now Community Network

This is a difficult topic to discuss because 1. We all work different places and have different plans and costs and prices and options, etc. And because 2. No one seems to understand anything about how these things work!
But my annual enrollment is coming up for my health insurance and I think it would be good for us as a psoriasis community to discuss what are good choices for health plans.

I always get the most expensive plan because my Stellara is like $5,500 and I have frequent dr visits to Rhuem and Derm and lab work and that's not even counting "normal" office visit for non psoriasis treatment.

Lately my company, and I suspect yours also, has been pushing everyone to "high deductible" health plans combined with a tax advantaged savings account.

At first I was really against these types of plans because they cover nothing until your entire deductible is met, but I noticed that the plan has a lower "out of pocket"maximum.
So if I take this option I'll max out my plan very early on, probably in January, and then everything is covered 100%.

The first one will hurt because I'll get a bill for $5,000 all at once but then I can put money into my tax advantaged spending account to cover my $5,000 next year.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of plan or advice on health plans?
