Hello everyone........

Hi all, I joined this group a few days ago, after stumbling across you by accident. Ive had P since I was 14 years old (i`m 44 now) so ive gone through all the lotions, potions, tapes, light treatments blah blah blah......u all know what i mean!!! My son got a double dose of P when he was 5, P is in my family and my sons fathers family. All of you who have children with it, will know how soul destroying it can be at times. My son is now 25 and still battles with it, he refuses to let P win!!! Although occassionaly it looks like it might! My sons wife gave me my first grandchild last November, It looks like the dreaded P has its claws into him too.
My son and I also both have psoriatic arthritis, which is very painful at times, although at the minute we both have that under control with prescription drugs.
As i sit here now i have dermovate cream, covered by haelan tape and dressings over that, all over my arms, elbows, thighs, calfs and back.....as u can imagine its very uncomfortable, but all in a good cause, im getting engaged at the end of november, so along with dermatologist i`m having a real battle with P so i can wear my sleeveless dress on that evening.....this is only day one and its driving me mad already......but hey ho, fingers crossed i win this particular battle.
Anyone else in the UK?
Hope to make new friends on here, I only read a few posts the other day, and could not believe there were other people out there who understood the ITCH.......LOL....it did make me chuckle. As i sat on my chair, surrounded by my dead skin after just having a good old scratching session!!!!!!
