Good luck!!!!!
I was on Humera for a year before it stopped working and yes, it is a big OUCH.

If you are using the auto-injector pens try icing the area for 20 minutes before you inject. It helps dull the pain. Also, be sure to leave the injector out of the refrigerator for about 25 minutes to let it warm up before you inject.

My doctor says that the pre-filled syringes hurt less. I switched to them when I switched to Enbrel and I find she is right. The auto-injector pens push all the medication in just like that. I find it's less painful when you can SLOWLY inject the drug.

Good luck. It did work great on me for a year.
Thanks!!! I'll try the ice next time!!!
Yes it definitely stings! I have been bruised by the auto-injectors more than once. Ice DOES help!! Good luck :)
Hey Stephanie....I was just wondering...what do they say about Humara and pregnancy? is it ok or do you have to go off of it while you are pregnant?.....just kinda wonderfing about all our psoriasis meds and pregnancy.......
When I went to the genetic specialist they said that enbrel was def. ok. Humara has less research but they THOUGHT that it would be ok. They told me that the general public has a 3% chance of birth defects with out any meds so it would be like like that. So, I'm hoping for the best. Have heard of several people having normally healthy children while on humara. But, I'm def. worried and anxious about my first dr. apt.!!!
Will keep ya posted!
