My son is 100% clear!
My 31-yr old son informed me today that he is 100% clear of psoriasis for the first time in 10 years! He came to visit me today and showed me his arms, legs, stomach, back, scalp, hands, feet, even his nails! He had been covered head to toe in psoriasis for years and is now totally free of it! He explained that 3 weeks ago, he accidentally purchased deodorant instead of his usual aluminum-based antiperspirant. He decided to use it anyway and within a few days his psoriasis began clearing up rapidly. He then realized that the aluminum in the antiperspirant had been causing a reaction to his skin. Within two weeks of using the non-aluminum deodorant, his body was completely clear. It is now three weeks since he did away with the antiperspirant and his skin and nails look like new! There are not words enough to say how happy I am for my son. I hope and pray with all my heart that this information helps other people who may be allergic to aluminum-based products.

Wow! How strange but good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wished we could figure out what is doing it. Maybe i will look at what i use and see. You know i noticed a lot of ppl say with P that if they wrap themselves in various creams it helps..........but mine only got worse if i used most creams.....i had to keep mine dry.......soaking in water was bad for it if done for long periods. Anyone else have this problem? The first dr i went to said it was Dyshidrosis and the other said palmo-plantar psoriasis. I am not sure who is right but i think it is the psoriasis either way they both suck. Another opinion coming up friday but i am clear since taking Humira but i don't want to be on Humira anymore. I had a TB scare!
