i couldnt find a specialist so i went to a normal derm. he gave me some cream called like cloberstal or something. it worked so amazing every spot almost dissapeared. then he took me off it because it was thining my skin...not to comfortable might i add. Now the psoriasis is back and its even worse now its on the bottom of my feet so it hurts to walk. my mom just found a specialist for this, i am going to see her on december 9th. Im not to sure about her though because iv had enough problems in my life with my body and now she wants to make me a guinea pig basically. she wants to use me to test out meds for a couple weeks till theres a break through. idk to much about it but im kinda scare because not many people have used any of it she said so they dont know what the side effects are..

If you have ever been used in research for this please message me and tell me what its like

Let us know the names of the meds she wants you to try (when you learn them). Thx and good luck!
I've never heard of cloberstal. My son has psoriasis & psoriatic arthritis and is now going to try Turmeric (a plant dried into a spice) this weekend. It was suggested to us by a mid-Eastern nutritionist. It's supposed to offer relief from pain of arthritis plus deal with the skin psoriasis. I'll let you know how that goes. I wish you luck & blessings with your treatment. Let us know how it goes! Ok?
Hi Angie,

I also have psoriasis on the bottom of my feet. I found a great dem, the first thing she did was a biopsy to make sure it was psoriasis, also have arthritis that goes along with it. I have been on several meds before we found one that works both for the skin/joints. I have been on Humira over a year now and all is well.

Good Luck,
Patsy
I think you should consider discussing Biologics with your Dermatologist. I am using Enbrel and it's been the most amazing thing for me. I also suffered from horrible spots on my feet. They are gone now. I've tried creams, steroid shots, diets, everything. Using Enbrel in conjuction with certain topical medications has been the best route for me. I am no doctor, so what works for me, may not be right for you, just something for you to think about it.

My best advice to you would be to research your disease and all the medications available. Don't let your health care provider dictate what's best for you. Make sure your educated enough about your disease and options to really weigh what's best for you health. I did a lot of research when I was looking for something to help with my P and my doctor helped educate me, whilst not forcing meds upon me. If need any advice or just someone to talk to my email address is carolinebbenson@gmail.com. Feel free to shoot me an email.
Ps. I have used and still use Clobex (I believe this is the medication you are talking about.) It comes in a spray form? It's amazing, but it was not enough for me. It's sort of a quick fix in my opinion, not a long term solution. I am now rotating Clobex with a few other topicals along with my Enbrel shots. I rotate to reduce thinning of the skin.
