Stelara day one 12-09-09
I am 90% covered with P and have PA in the knees, ankles , feet and hand. I have been on Enbrel and then Humira . I was also on MTX and Cyclosporin and was taken off. It seems like i am hoping that this is the miracle drug for me. Today i recieved my first shot. Will keep you updated on what it does. I will receive the second shot in 4 weeks and after that every 12 weeks....the cost is $2000 but my pay with my insurance is $200. I was told that some people would get good effect after one shot but most gets them after the second shot. I hope i am one of the lucky one that gets them off the first shot. It would be a great christmass gift.

Good Luck...I hope you get your Christmas gift!!!! Let us know how it is working.....I have found that pictures some times speak louder than words.....I always kept a photo journal of every med I took....maybe this will help you....again...Im hoping you get your Christmas gift....

I have just received my first injection of Stelara on 11/28, I as well have been on Humira and Enbrel for over 5 years. The first injection of Stelara has already began to clear my lesions more than any of the other drugs ever did. Good Luck with your treatment. There is a program that will cover your co pay for a year, most people do not even know it is available. Go to the STELARA website and you will find this information,it is called STELARA SUPPORT Instant Savings PROGRAM I had it before my Dr. Office did. They did not care if I had insurance or not, without the program my out of pocket would have been $300 an injection.
Good Luck and hopefully healing will begin.

I know basically nothing about this treatment...guess I should go look at it at least to know what my feeelow sufferers are dealing with....I am guessing it is a shot but it is almost painless like the Enbrel was or does it hurt like I hear the Humira does?.....
Im so glad yall having great success with this...my derm says that if the Remicade stops working for me (which I pray never happens) then this will be our next option....I love to hear that yall are getting relief!!!!! Christmas is coming early for yall huh...BTW.....Welcome to the Cure Now Family Freddie!!!! You will love it here....These are the best of people here.....Everytime I come here I leave with a smile on my face!!!!

OH boy!!! I'm excited to hear how the Stelara does for everyone??? I was wondering though...you were on enbrel and then humira....did they both stop working for you??? I just switched from enbrel to humira and i can see a huge difference! Hope it works for ya. Keep us posted:)

How are you doing now? I was on Enbrel for 10 years and it stopped working. Went on Humira, did well with the psorasis, but did not do well with the inflammation in my joints. Thinking about Stellara or Ampremilast, a new molecule drug in clinical trial stage. www.celgene.com Let me know how you are doing, appreciate, Raj

Hi, I just recieved my 2nd shot last week, I am almost 100% clean, just some scares left from the inflamations,
along with the Stelara, I have been using light treatment and both together have changed my life. I started clearing up about 3 week in from the time I got my first shot.
