Just to let you know, I finally got Stelara approved by my insurance and I got the first shot on thursday! Will keep you updated on how it goes :)

One last thing Bob, a good soak in the tub with one bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar and then rinse in the shower makes a big difference for me the next day. It might help you too, it's a trick I learned from my accupuncturist. I have bottles of the stuff at home. Maybe it will help you? :)

Hi Bob, To be sure the diet is dull! But helpful. The woman I was seeing got too expensive but I love the place and they have tons of practitioners and so you can call and schedule with any of them and they will be cheaper than who I was seeing (my Dr. rented space from them but was not on their staff) the best thing about this place is the pharmacy in the front is the largest Chinese herbal pharmacy on the East Coast and all the herbs are grown in the US and they can prescribe a great mix for you and it's affordable. The herbs they will give you will be bitter and "clear blood heat" (a Chinese traditional medicine term) you take them twice a day, and I do believe they help. For us psoriasis sufferers we do so much better eating bitter greens than we would sugar and carbs. Give it a try you will see after a bit you are less inflamed, less itchy I felt like it was very cooling to my system. Please let me know how it goes for you, I think it's a great way to go.
