I am new to this so bare with me. I am 43 and have had P since I was 18. I have been progressive since then (about 80% of my body). Went thru a slew of treatments. Gave up on them for the last 4yrs. I have only been doing long bathes and vaseline, lotions and the like. For the last month I have had an experience of my life that I NEVER want to experience again. Well I have now Started Humira injections and so far so good. I can at least finally walk with slight pain from my psoriatic arthritis. Now for the miracle to begin to rid my skin for at least one summer LOL. the last time I had that was 6 yrs ago when I started on MTX. then the seasons change and so did my psoriasis it came back with a vengence. continued to add more meds to my regime. I was so sick all the time like a big flu bug that wouldnt go away. I said fuck it and stopped doing anything but bathe put lotions,vaseline to keep it so it wasnt painful. Time went on and now I am where i am at having no coice but start on Biologic. psoriasis 1 me 0. But i go about my day with a smile. Me and my psoriasis have a love hate relationship.
