This is my new life's phrase. You control this. Ever since CariDee wrote it on my facebook wall, I haven't been anything but positive. I'm fighting this disease...one day at a time. It will never control me again.

I'm currently on a natural approach, a strict diet. It sucks but if it works, its worth it!

As for the rest of my life, I have a great family with parents who have supported me and taken me to pretty much every doctor on the planet. They also have spent as much money as necessary for my skin, they want a cure more than I do. I have 2 great sisters, both with small patches, 2 bro-in-laws and 2 little nephews. I also have the most amazing and understanding boyfriend anyone in the world could have. When we started dating I was on Enbrel so my skin was clear, but due to some side effects I've discontinued my use of Enbrel and my skin has gotten worse. I have no scaling but red spot all over. He calls them my 'little red spots', and has told me multiple times he doesn't care about them...he's an awesome guy. I'm pretty lucky to have these great people around me and many more. I can remember in college asking my close friends if my skin looked bad, and they said 'what about it?' I remember clearly one of my closest friends told me 'I don't notice your skin, I see you.'
