Profile Information
I am a 22 year old college graduate :)
My history with psoriasis is fairly recent. About five months ago I came down with a really bad sore throat [supposedly strep] and along with the terrible throat pains were these tiny red spots trickling down my body day by day. I was diagnosed with chicken pox, shingles, and possibly ringworms [seems to be common to be misdiagnosed for the first time :(]. Finally after receiving a second opinion from a dermatologist, I was diagnosed with guttate psoriasis. My relationship with psoriasis has been an ongoing physical and emotional journey. It has made me cry myself to sleep, worry and stress about my health for countless hours on end and made me feel so ugly and unloved. I still keep a smile on my face and hope for the best. Some days are emotionally draining with psoriasis and some days are carefree and happy. I won't let this condition take the positivity and optimism out of my life!
Its still an ongoing struggle as I have it all over my body still but I'm hoping for better days.
I want to learn as much as I can about this condition and how to live my life with this. I hope to meet people that will bring insight and some wisdom in both life and their own journey with psoriasis. Also, I'm here to make friends too :) You're not alone in your struggle against this condition!!

Stress Triggers Mine, I Know Im Only 16 And I Havnt Got Much To Stress Over But I Stress Over The Psoriasis I Try Not To But Its Hard As You Would No. I Stay Fit I Work Out And Eat As Healthy As Possible I Dont Drink Or Smoke So Thats Not Affecting Me. How Long Have You Had It For?
