Profile Information
My name is Mike and I have had psoriatic arthritis since I was eight years of age. I am fifty two now (2009) and I still have the condition. I hate it, and it has been a contributing factor to other medical issues. Some that have come and gone and some that stick around. Mostly due to the problems associated with the immune system. I seem to be on an upward swing as I have been clearer and healthier. I recently chose to be more careful about what I eat and I try to excercise more.
I have tried it all, and I do mean all! Creams, pills, ointments, injections, IV's you name it I have tried it. They all work for a while but it always comes back. I am single and have a twelve year old daughter that lives with me. She is wonderful and I love her deeply. I pray everyday that she will never have to deal with psoriasis.
If anyone wants to chat about treatments, etc., please feel free to contact me. Sometimes talking with others really helps and many times you find helpful hints on daily living with psoriasis from others that have this curse.
