I have had good ol psoriasis since about the age of 12. Started on my elbows and took off from there. No one knew what it was and I kept getting tossed around from Doctor to Doctor and they couldnt help me either. Finally went to a dermatology clinic and got told it was psoriasis. I have tried many topicals but they dont help much. Everyday I wish it would just go away. Im sick of it. I have been on and off enbrel for the past 5 years. Enbrel is the only drug that has made my "spots" lighten up and fade away. Once I stop Enbrel, psoriasis comes back. The past two years have been horrible for me. My eyelids have now been attacked. I tried applying some gel I have and good golly, I thought I was going to lose my eyes. Not only have my eyelids been attacked but inside my ears! What the heck. So because my psoriasis is so bad, I don't wear my hair up in public. I dont care if my elbows are exposed. Im not going to make myself suffer when its 80 degrees out and im trying to cover up. Forget that. My eyebrows and in between my eyes have been affected also. If I apply my psoriasis gel everyday, then it stays away. My back and sides are covered in plaques. They range in size from as small as a dime to about the size of and apple. I experience flakeyness, some bleeding here and there, terrible burning sensations every now and then and most weeks my psoriasis is very very red. No one in my family has psoriasis as bad as I do. My dad's older brother has-had psoriasis and my mom's mom has it on her elbows. I have altered my life since I broke out with psoriasis. Im tired of the questions or "what happened to you". Leave me alone.(The general public can be so stupid). I am so glad I found this site. I can be me! and I love it :) And you all know what happened to me lol, I have psoriasis, thats what happened lol. Im willing to answer questions you may have.
