ok so i wana know what foods to stay away from that would trigger more breakouts? because alot of people keep telling me to stay away from oranges and foods that have acids idk so wht do guys suggest ?

i have been wondering a lot how do you people deal with the whole relationship thing.. .because im scard of me having this plaque... it would be the reason that person doesnt want to be with me... i jus want to know how do guys view this and would you be in a relationship with someone who has it....i want to know what you guys thing of this..... like do people get freaked out about it? do they feel its contagious? wht? idk i need answers

I have had psoriasis for 5 years, and i have been in relationship for 7 years. the worst my psoriasis got the more self conscious I became around my boyfriend. I really had no reason to be because my boyfriend was completly supportive and conscious of my feelings. He helped me put on my steriod creams, and held me while I cried over how much I hated my skin. I feel that if a man can not understand that this is something that you can not control and be with you for whats inside than he is not the man for you. I think it is just something you have to explain to the person, because not everyone has heard of psoriasis. Show a person who you are on the inside first, and if he is a real man he will automatically love whats on the outside, psoriasis and all. Dont let psoriasis make you self-conscious, dont let it make you less stylish or introverted. Dont hide. Let your light shine, and believe me, a good man will take notice.
