so much for research. I couldn't continue, for no fault of my own! So I got my first injection of Stelera today! Thank goodness for the Stelera co-pay assistance program! Hope it works for me :)

exactly! But when I think about the reason they do these long studies, its to see what the long term side effects are. I am confident though, They take my blood, do an ekg and get a urine sample ever time I go in so I know they are watching out for…

OMG! I just found out today that the study has been extended for 5 years! holy cow!

It is two tiny pills. Side effects have been fatigue and a little nausea in the morning after i take it but goes away when i eat. That's it. I think some others have experienced headaches and loose stools. It seems to be two times a day…

Research
I was just wondering if any one out there is taking part in a clinical trial for the drug Apremilast? Just want to share stories. It has worked wonders for me. Hopefully it will be approved by the FDA soon so everyone can have it. It is a pill I take 2x a day, very minimal side effects! After creams and Enbrel this was very welcoming :)

I used to tan and it would help but last winter i burned really bad and it made it worse. Just be careful! Especially if you are taking any biologics!

I found out from the National Psoriasis Org that there will be a walk in Dallas sometime in October, not sure of the exact date yet. I definitely plan on volunteering and recruting my family and friends to help find a Cure!

I have had psoriasis since I was 17. When I first broke out it was on my back and my forehead but eventually worked its way to my knees, legs and arms. For many years I went to doctors, not dermatologists, who didn't know how to treat it. They just gave me creams and steroids. Some worked temporarily but it never lasted.
