- Don't pick or scratch your scalp. This will only end up causing hair loss (it will grow back). Try using a shampoo called SEBCUR. It can help control itching, redness and scaling. If it's more sever you can use a day treatment which is not oily ECTOSONE SCALP. For this one you will need a perscription and this stuff isn't too expensive. There is this great night treatment (it's an oil) which you apply to your scalp and sleep with it on while wearing a shower cap. It is called DERMASMOOTH. Please note that this oil contains some peanut oil so if you've got peanut issues this one may not be for you but it really gets rid of those scales rather quickly. Good luck!!!
