Thanks for the advise, my daughter has been suffering for 9 of her 13 years and it has truly been a battle. She has severe plaque on her scalp. Do you know of any remedies that can help with hair loss from the scalp psoriasis?

dont loose confidence. i too facing the same problam. i dev'd p six months back. so just mild drugs even 70 % affected.

Anyone tried psorent?
I just picked up my prescription a few days ago and have only used it three times and i can already tell a big difference! It is tar but it is better than anything ive used before!The smell isnt as strong as most of the tar products and very easy to apply! you can order it online without a prescription also....ive never had any luck with topical treatments but i think this just might work!

I hate to hear that Shanika....I had no problems with the remicade and sun the whole tim ei was on it...remicade was my wonder drug for 12 months....then i got severly stressed out and it completely stopped working sending me into a full body flare…
Remicade and sun sensitivity
ive been on remicade over a year now and last infusion my derm told me i had polymorphus light eruption which is a sun allergy & i LOVE the sun! This just came out of no where! i cant use my uvb light or tanning bed anymore because of this.... im also noticing remicade is starting to die out on my and my spots are slowly returning. Anybody have any advice or had the same problem with remicade?? See More

the cheapest & most effective for me has always been the vaseline & saran wrap! After i get out the shower and put vaseline on my legs & arms fairly thick & then wrap them up in saran wrap and sleep that way... its not comfortable…

I am 19 years old and i have been suffering from psoriasis for about eight years now. I have tried many different treatments and wasted alot of money! I started enbrel four years ago and i was in remission for three and then its back to make my life a living hell! Everyday is a battle and somedays are better than others. Ive recently started a new treatment and it hasnt shown improvement yet so im always looking for new ideas and i love meeting people who are going through the same thing i am because it hurts emotionally and physically but i try to live one day at a time.As of right now im back to being covered about 75% of my body.. legs,back,scalp,stomach,and arms and i hope to find a new treatment that works and to feel like a have a life again!

- Thanks girl...The Remicade really has done wonders for me....I was turning a bright shade of purple for a while but now most of that is gone too....I have never been that brave as to wear no sleeves and shorts in public before but now I feel like i have a whole new body to show off (before another outbreak comes up)....have a wonderful day Shanika :-)
