Great News to share about controlling psoriasis

I'm writing this today because my husband and I have just gone through a bout with psoriasis. What a terrible disease. My heart goes out to all of you.

We didn't know where this came from. There is no family history of psoriasis. It was all over his body. His doctors prescribed several creams, a spray..all very expensive. Then a new doctor looked at his list of meds and told him to quit taking his beta blocker (for high blood pressure) He also began photo therapy which did a lot to dry up the rash. 2 months later, there have been no new breakouts for several weeks and the majority of the rash is gone. I hope this helps some one.

There is a detailed review of the Banish Psoriasis book here

http://www.psorsite.com/docs/banpsor.html

interesting read with some potentially useful information but in summary ...

dodgy in regards to the nature of the claims in the add and what is delivered

unfortunately

but it looks like they do provide a refund

for as long as they are in business?

Hello Donna, I just read your story and I just bought the Banish Psoriasis book. I just purchased all the natural ingredients that worked for Katy Roberts and I will starting it as
soon as I receive the stuff. My heart absolutely breaks for your daughter, I was her age when I had my first break out. I do not know what your doctor prescribed but it sound scary. I was only given an oral medicine once for my psoriasis and it was an antibiotic called Duricef. It did absolutely nothing other than give me a yeast infection. I never did light treatments because I always went to the tanning salon since I first broke out. I am not saying that is what your daughter should do however there are plenty of dermatologists out there and all treat psoriasis differently. Please just be careful - take care.

Just don't let them put her on Soritane, this medication may work well for some but it can also cause serious birth defects with long time use or if you get pregnant while on it. I was on it for a while and it helped somewhat but my liver and kidneys couldn't deal with it so I'm back to square one. Tried lots of other meds also, but I'm not giving up.

Lights often work great! Narrowband UVB is both safe and effective. http://www.psoriasis-cure-now.org/uvb-puva.php

Try not to panic and of course, treat everything you read with a healthy skepticism. There are some resources for children with psoriasis here: http://www.psoriasis-cure-now.org/psoriasiskids.php

Keep us posted, and let us know which meds she has been prescribed.
