My story...
Hello - my name is Danielle and I have had psoriasis since I am 15 years old. I am now 37 and still
trying to find what works for me. I will not give up trying to find something that has long term relief instead of short term. I think I have used every kind of topical that there is for our condition. Most of the topicals give the same result - as soon as you stop using it, the plaques come back. I tried Enbrel which worked okay in the beginning but when my insurance cut my dosage the effectiveness starting wearing off and then I really started to think about this new drug and do they really know what the long terms effects can be an on individual. I feel that it has not been out long enough to know the long term effects it could have so I stopped it. I do go to the tanning salons over all these years, it helps my psoriasis and also makes me feel better about myself. One thing I can say is that my psoriasis has never stopped me from dating or having boyfriends. If someone could not accept me - oh well. No one is perfect and if they dont have what we have they have something else. However I do not like to show off my psoriasis and it has made me insecure in certain matters however I refuse to let it take control of my life. I hope everyone out there who has psoriasis keeps their head up - you are not a leper!
My new experiment is from an ebook I just bought called Banish Psoriasis by Katy Roberts. Honestly I think she is on to something about boosting your immue system and I am going to try it.

Please don't waste your money on this e-book, the secret 3 step healing remedy is just a selection of immune boosting supplements. Yes, they may work, but lots of other immune boosting supplements could work too. Most of this info is available on other sites free. Katy Roberts does not seem to exist as the same photo shows up as Andrea Matthews on banishshingles.com too. Good luck with your efforts.

Comment by phat on May 19, 2009 at 2:58am - hi im fatima pablo from the philippines, im 28 years old and i have psoriasis for 5 years now. its bin a long battle for me...my condition worsen last 2007 that time i couldn't walk for a week...im envy you guys coz your country has an advance treatment for psoriasis unlike here in my country. i know how hard to have this disease its a long term battle for all of us... but God will lead us to for a better life...God bless us all..

Comment by Monica Shawn on April 18, 2009 at 12:01am - The tanning bed is what triggered my last bad flare up with my hands. Too much sunlight and/or ultraviolet light makes my skin worse. I am so discouraged to hear about people who were on Enbrel and then it stopped working.

- HI, Danielle. I'm so glad to hear that someone else bought that ebook! I have been doing her 3 step process for about 3 weeks now. Sometimes I think it is getting better, but other days I don't. I'm not ready to give up on it yet. I still use my topical steroid creams and try to go to the tanning salon a couple of times a week. My P used to be pretty controlled with just the creams and tanning. However about 6 weeks ago my P spread out of control. Please keep me updated on your progress with the ebook!
