Today was my appt. with my Rheumatologist, he got to see my feet and arthritis at there worst. My feet are still so painful, cracking and bleeding......it's so painful to walk and to top it off the arthritis is also full blown, my knee is swollen and painful. What a combination. We did agree Humira is not working, so to the lab for x-rays, blood work. Next step if all labs are good this Remicade schedule for next week. I will admit I am a little scared.

Wish me luck!!

Cindy I'm glad for you, as I said I used Remicade it didn't work for me, so hang in there sweetheart as long as you can with whatever treatment works.

I echo Cindy, no pain is awesome, so you have my total endorsement as if that was needed.

I did Remicade, so I understand your hesitation, has your doctor not recommended Embrel yet, or did I miss that part of the blog. My P/A seems to be in remission now PRAISE GOD, I don't if that term work's but I'll take all the help I can get.

As of yesterday I had my second infusion of Remicade, The first went really well. The second seemed to go well, until 3:00 this morning I awoke with a migraine, but I can walk without any pain.

Don’t be scared....ok...I cant say that in fairness....You have all the right in the world to be scared.....I was scared....but it has been the best medication for me...I pray it works for you like it has worked for me....I need to get those pictures up...of my before and after.....I will get it done this week....we had computer issues with video making...then I have gone back to work...and redoing our house and getting ready for the kids to get back to school...just really crazy here....and we are on the brink of a big storm...so we may loose power tonight...so I don’t know when I will get it up but it will be this week....you have to see how this drug has made my life so much better....before Remicade I was depressed... I was 90-95% covered in psoriasis and my psoriatic arthritis was so painful....I was In amounts of pain I have never experienced...couldn’t work...couldn’t carry on normal every day life...I had to rely on Fred for everything.....it was horrible....Now...I have just had my 3rd dose.....I have been 100% clear and pain free for well over a month....I just hope I always feel like this on this medication...if not I will hit bottom again...(Fred will pick me back up...again) and we will continue on after finding a new drug....it is all a cycle....one we have to get used to living in....it is like our skin in bi-polar....wonderful sometimes....then at the turn of some kind of stress it turns angry....good luck Patsy....I cant wait to hear how things go with the tests and the start of the Remicade...... :-)
