Still Searching for a Cure

I've had psoriasis for about 6 years now. Got it after I was diagnosed with bronchitis and the doctors gave me a really powerful antibiotic. Within two weeks after I stopped the antibiotic, the first pink patches appeared on the top of my left foot.

I've tried probably 10-15 different topical applications, none of which worked for very long. Then I decided to approach it differently. All the web sites say psoriasis is an immune disorder, so instead of trying one topical lotion/cream after another, I'm trying nutritional and supplemental support.

I read at some blog that a guy tried vitamin D and fish oil capsules. I tried that and for the first few days I really thought I was onto the "final solution". But then it went back to how it was before. I still believe treating it from within, instead of without, will be the ultimate "cure" for this darned disease.

So right now I'm taking 4,000 mgs of Mega 3 fish oil, and 5,000 mg. of Vitamin D. Does anybody out there who's tried this, know of something else I'm missing? I also just started Evening Primrose Oil which a lady at the health food store swears by, but I'm not sure how much is enough.

I'm also interested in the phototherapy. If anybody has tried this with any success, could you please post? Thanks.
